An overview of the current market situation (production, exports, prices, consumption) for tea (2018) and medium term outlook to 2027 based on FAO modelling from the UN’s Food and Agriculture Organisation’s Intergovernmental Group on Tea. The analysis is based on data received by the Secretariat and from member countries, supplemented by data from other sources including FAOSTAT and the International Tea Committee. Macroeconomic data were sourced from the IMF, the World Bank and the OECD.
